Transverse flute in D
Side-blown, ebony flute made in four sections (head, barrel, body and foot joint), with ivory cap and ferrules, and nickel-silver keywork. Nine flat, round cover keys mounted in blocks, and flat springs attached to keys. Round embouchure hole. Nominal pitch: D. This instrument is part of the Albert C. Spencer collection.
