Practice chanter
This bagpipe practice chanter is made from an unknown wood, probably ebony, with a celluloid sole. The nickel ferrule has a dedicatory inscription to James Mearns. This is possibly the same James Mearns who was piper to Sir C. Forbes of Craigievar.
