Whistling mug
This is a four-handled earthenware mug or loving cup whistle, with four handles. It is brown, and glazed except at the bottom of the exterior. Applied decoration of a man clutching a flagon appears twice on opposite sides. Each handle would have had a bird-shaped whistle on top of it although one is now missing.
