Transverse flute in F (E-flat)
Side-blown flute made of rosewood, in four sections (head, upper and middle joints, and foot), with nickel-silver ferrules and keywork. It has four saltspoon-cup keys mounted with pivots in wooden knobs, with flat brass springs attached to keys and cork paddings. The tenons are wrapped with thread. The embouchure hole is oval. Nominal pitch: E-flat.
