Clarinet in B-flat
This instrument is assembled with three sections that have each a different serial number. It is a clarinet made of cocus wood sections (upper and lower joints, and bell) with nickel-silver ferrules and keywork. It has thirteen cylinder-cup keys, mounted in posts with rods, with flat and needle steel springs attached to keys and posts, with cork paddings and brown leather pads. There is a brille key at the lower joint (two ring-key), a straight throat A-flat key, and the register tonehole is at the front of the body. The socket/tenon joints are lined with metal, and wrapped with cork. The bell ferrule is pressed on the bell flare. There is a red hue on the surface of the instrument that might be associated with polish compound (red rouge probably), which means this instrument was clearly restored. Nominal pitch: B-flat.
