Guitar

The two-piece back and both ribs are made from vividly figured maple. The front is made from spruce. Plain stripes of alternating dark and light purfling embellish the outline and the soundhole. The bridge is made from ebony and has a delicate black mastic "moustache". The neck, fingerboard and head, holding 12 boxwood pegs, are veneered with black ebony. This guitar has been set up with five double courses of gut strings and with gut frets. 'Salomon a Paris' is stamped onto the front beneath the bridge.
