The front is made from three joined boards of pine. The front is embellished with three arabesque roses, a square, and a semi-circle. The plectrum guard is semi-circular in shape and decorated with inlaid plastic tendrils, similar to the fingerboard. The shell is made from seven ebony ribs. The three centre ribs have inlays and all joins are dotted with small plastic squares. The neck and the pegbox, holding 12 pegs, are stained. The front, neck and bridge are lined with a band of wood and mother-of-pearl.
