Notched flute; úgégé or túrú
Úgégé or túrú, notched flute. Bamboo flute cut from an exceptionally long internode, and stopped with gum at the distal end. The upper rim has a large V-shaped notch at the front. Three small round finger holes are burnt into the front of the instrument, grouped towards the bottom but widely spaced.
