Dital harp

Dital Harp by Edward Light. c.1821. Marked 'Light, Foley Place, London, No.270'. Clock key tuning, gilt stand and rose. Stops at the back of the finger board, from which the instrument is given its name. This instrument was a development of MC.71 'A development of the harp-lute marked Light Patent No.270, Foley Place, London. Bought from S. Hagger, 12 St Stephens Lane, Ipswich, 28th December 1931' (M. Jessup).
