Clarinet
Clarinet in B flat. Boxwood with brass keys and ivory ferrules. Six keys, block mounted with square flat flaps and leather pads. Block mounts are turned away and full/round. Four pieces, mouthpiece missing. String lapped tenons. Eight small holes next to block mounts on upper joint appear to have been plugged. Upper joint and lower joint stamped: ASTOR/LONDON; with a unicorn's head appearing beneath. Bell stamped: ASTOR/N..../CO..../LONDON; with a crest emblem above.
