Tenoroon
Tenoroon, tenor bassoon. Nominal pitch: F. Stained boxwood with brass keys, ferrules and end cap on butt joint. Four joints. Nine keys, including C-sharp key on wing. Keys are saddle-mounted with circular flat flaps and leather pads. String lapped tenons. Paper label adhered to bell has in D. J. Blaikley's hand: '70 TENEROON-F/ ..... BOXWOOD/FLAT BRASS K/LATE 18C OR EARLY 19 C'.
