Clarinet. Nominal pitch: B flat. Boxwood body. Four ivory ferrules and one of brass. Six brass keys. Five pieces: mouthpiece (missing), barrel, left hand joint, integral right hand/lower joint, bell. Keys block mounted with square flat flaps and leather pads. All block mounts turned away apart from one full/round block mount on right hand/lower joint. String lapped tenons. Stamped on left hand joint and twice on right hand/lower joint: GOULDING & Co.; Bell stamped: GOULDING & Co./No. 117 NEW-BOND St./LONDON
