Conch shell trumpet

Dung-dkar, end-blown conch (Turbinella [formerly Xancus] pyrum) trumpet, the apex cut off to create a mouth hole. A metal mount with an engraved design of foliage and a border of skulls(?) covers the upper whorls, and a similar mount with a border engraved in a geometrical pattern covers the body whorl. The siphonal canal is filled in and is covered by the lower mount.
