Natural trumpet
Imitation signalling trumpets. Silver throughout, hallmarked for 1900. Each body is made up of a succession of tubes and ferrules, and the bell has a long flare, ending in an unadorned rim. The mouthpieces simply continue the cylindrical bore and have no throat, cup or back-bore. The two are almost identical apart from 15.10.48/204a has a broad flat mouthpiece rim, and 15.10.48/204b is heavily tarnished.
