Concertina
Anglo-German system concertina. Thick, bevelled rosewood ends, 5.44x6.5in/138x165mm. Fretwork with muslin backing, also frets in sides of right end. Two screws per end. 23 ebonised wood buttons: 11 each side + 1 air lever (operates a rod onto sprung flat), stamped 0-10 on ends. Buttons on wooden levers, continental style. Reeds riveted on zinc plates. Broad steel tongues fixed on underside of action. Six-fold green leather bellows with gilt edging. Plain leather straps, screwed and buckled onto mahogany hand bars.
