Concertina
Anglo-German system concertina. Flat mahogany ends, 6.25in/159mm across parallel sides. Thick frets with red leather backing. 21 broad, domed bone buttons: 10 each side + 1 air, broad domed bone. Round-end brass reeds in simple reed pan. Five-fold black leather bellows with gold star papers. Later leather and fabric straps, brass screws. Stamped on right end: Metal Rd. Reeds; Oval paper label: G Jones, patent concertina manufacturer, 350 Commercial Rd, East; Serial number 23928.
