Concertina
Anglo-German system concertina. Flat rosewood ends, 6.75in/171mm across parallel sides, with bevelled edges and heavy full frets. 31 broad bone buttons: 15 each side + 1 air, stamped with two note names for push/pull, bushed. Round-end broad steel reeds, air valve is sprung on a hinged trapdoor on inner side of pan. Six-fold green/gold embossed leather bellows with gold/black papers. Later leather straps with brass screws. Oval paper label: G Jones, Patent Concertina Manufacturer, 350 Commercial Road, East; Serial number 16526.
