Whistle; duct flute
Whistle, duct flute. The terrcotta instrument takes the form of a man standing on a motor scooter. The scooter is represented by an upright disc at the front with V-shaped handlebars attached to the top of the rear surface. The man and the scooter are attached to a flat oval base. A whistle head extends from the rear of the base, with a mouth hole at the end and a mouth or window on the top surface. The entire instrument, other than the mouthpiece, is painted white with red and green spots.
