Fiddle
Three-stringed fiddle and bow. Narrow waisted body. The body, neck, pegbox and scroll are carved from a single piece of wood. The table and fingerboard are attached with nails. Three vegetable fibre strings are carried on three irregular shaped pegs and are attached to the base by a leather tailpiece. There are curved slots for soundholes. The outcurved bow is a convex stick with black horsehair.
