Harp-lute
Harp-lute. The back is in three pieces with a central sound slot. The instrument is lacquered black with gilt lines, the table has a gilt border of instruments amidst roses, and an inset gilt sunburst rose. There are six strings over the fingerboard, and one diapason string. Length 32.5 inches. Maker's label: Charles Wheatstone, Strand, London.
