Clog fiddle. The body formed from a wooden clog with a wooden soundtable, all varnished a dark brown colour. There is a soundpost. The violin neck with peg-box and scroll, and the fingerboard, are probably from an older instrument. The top string is wire, the middle two gut and the bass string is wire overwound. The violin bridge is stamped 'AUBERT'.
