Kettledrum
Carved female figure, holding a snake and bearing a bowl-shaped drum on her head. The figure and the drum are carved from a single piece of wood, and the eyes are inlaid inlaid with black glass. The drum has tapered sides and a domed base. A snake design is carved in relief on the front face. At the rim, the outer surface is chamfered beneath the membrane to form a flange. The thin skin head and is nailed around the rim with flat-headed tacks.
