Bo with Tiger Loop Design (Bronze bell)

Generally well preserved. The body was broken and has now been restored. Made of bronze, with green patina on the surface. The bell has a slim body, which is shaped like a combined pair of tiles, and a flat bottom rim (yu). The upper surface (wu) is flat and has a double-tiger loop (niu) on top. The different sections on the body, such as the central panel (zheng), the areas (zhuan) between the studs, the studs and the gu are each clearly defined. There are 36 spiral studs on the body of the bell. The top of the loop (niu) is decorated with double-stranded cord patterns. The two tigers at the bottom of the loop are decorated with fine dots. The upper surface (wu), the areas (zhuan) between the studs and their surrounding areas, and also the gu are decorated with panchi patterns [in legend, panchi is a curled dragon without a horn]. There are S-shaped cloud patterns and triangle patterns decorating the areas between the studs. The studs are decorated with fine dots.
