Xiangtan Xiaotuo Zhong (Bronze bell)
Preserved in good condition. The whole body of the instrument is covered in green patina. The tubular handle (yong) has a raised collar (xuan) and a ring (xuanchong) attached to it. The shape of the body resembles two arched tiles closed together. The mouth (yu) is curved. There are 36 two-tier columnar studs on the body of the bell. The areas (zhuan) between the studs and the section of the body nearest the mouth are decorated with incised cloud and thunder patterns. The xuan is decorated with conical studs.
