Pingjiang Wengjiang Zheng (Bronze duo with tiger motif)
Well preserved, with dark green mixed with brown colours on the surface. The body of the bell is of an elliptic cylindrical shape and it is thick and heavy. The elliptic cylindrical handle (yong) has a ring around one end. Two curled-up dragons in low relief are cast on the handle. The upper section of the body has S-shaped cloud patterns in 4 groups. The main design on the body is two tigers cast in low relief. The lower section of the body is decorated with two bands of triangular geometric patterns. This type of decoration on a zheng is rarely seen.
