Chunyu with A Horse Figurine and Boat and Fish Patterns (Bronze drum with a horse-shaped loop)

The tail of the horse-shaped loop is missing. The rims of the top and bottom surfaces have been repaired. The body of the instrument is broken and has a small hole on it. Made of Bronze. This slim and tall drum has a rounded elliptical cross-section, and the sides rise straight upwards from the bottom of the drum before swelling into a gourd-like shape. The flared top rim surrounds a saddled and bridled horse running on the flat top surface. The flat top surface has fish and boat designs cast on either side of the horse, and has heart and lightning-shaped designs at the front and back of the horse.
