Xiangxi Chunyu with Double-tiger Figurine

This instrument was broken and has been largely restored. Made of Bronze. The body of the drum is slim with an oval cross-section. The upper section of the drum is round and bulging, and the middle section is slanted and straight. The drum is hollow in the middle. The top rim is flared and the bottom surface is flat. Two tiger figurines are cast side by side in the middle of the top surface. They are connected by a horizontal bronze rod, which has a movable ring attached to it. The tiger figurines are decorated with cloud patterns, but the body of the drum has a plain design with no patterns.
