Bronze Drum with Winding Stem Pattern (Bronze drum with winding stem pattern)

The lower section of the drum is slightly broken. Made of Bronze. The body of the drum is short and squat. The top surface is smaller than the upper section of the drum, but is extended slightly wider than the drum’s neck. The upper section is bulging and is decorated with 2 pairs of flat ears on either side. The upper, middle and lower sections of the body of the drum are not clearly defined. The centre of the top surface is decorated with a sun that has twelve rays. The sun is surrounded by eight rings of decreasing size, one inside the other. The winding stem patterns in between the rings are the main design. Other designs include three layers of studs, triangle and broken line patterns. There are 7 patterned bands around the body of the drum, featuring designs such as studs, winding stems, half-rings, triangles and so on.
