Bronze Drum with Winding Stem Pattern (Bronze Drum with feathered men motif)

Preserved in good condition. The body of the drum is broken with many small holes on it. There are cracks on the lower section of the drum. Made of bronze, with greyish-green colour on the surface. The body of the drum is short and squat and has 4 casting marks. The top surface is smaller than the upper section of the drum, but is extended slightly wider than the neck of the drum. There is a raised ring around the waist of the drum. A pair of flat ears are attached to the upper section of the drum. Seven single-lined rings of decreasing size are cast on the top surface of the drum, one inside the other. At the centre, there is a sun with twelve rays. In addition, other designs include concentric circles, multi-line angular shapes, winding stems and flying flags (which are the main patterns), waves and so on. The upper section of the drum is decorated with studs.
