Saz
A long-necked fretted lute traditionally played with a plectrum. As with many instruments, the saz is made in a variety of sizes; this is an example of a small saz, also known as a khyrda saza or a goltukh saza. As is common with this type of instrument, it is decorated with mother-of-pearl.
