Mbira
A lamellaphone, known as the mbira among Bantu-speaking peoples. The free ends of the tongues are depressed and released by the thumbs and forefingers and the sound is sometimes amplified by a separate gourd resonator. The tuning is easily changed by adjusting the lengths of the free ends.
