Pochette bow. Method of hair tightening: simple screw mechanism, no ferrule. Stick: made of stained ?beech; round cross-section with carved grooves at frog end to keep frog in line. Head: facing: almond shape, covered with ox bone strip embracing bold tip; trapezoid wedge in ½ of length furthest from the tip; plane: trapezoid; tapered semi-round on outer edge. Frog: made of stained ?oak or beech; on rectangular plane, simple workmanship; c-shape inner undercutting; cross-section: rectangular; screw cap made from ox bone and with smaller diameter than the stick; screw made of iron; eyelet of brass.
